About Jon
Jon was a founding member of the internationally-acclaimed Apollo Saxophone Quartet, the ensemble that significantly shaped his musical philosophy. Renowned for its excellence and versatility across contemporary classical and jazz genres, the group has been at the forefront of the British contemporary music scene for over 25 years. He also established the Opus Music School in Manchester, UK and has played an integral part of many progressive projects, including Yehudi Menuhin’s “Live Music Now,” a program that took live music to underserved environments such as special needs schools, hospitals for the terminally ill and prisons.
